GrandPlan in one paragraph
GrandPlan is an iPhone app that turns "what should we do with the kids
today?" into five good answers nearby: parks, indoor activities, and ice
cream, matched to the age of the kid in front of you and checked by a
safety-trained AI curation agent against one strict kid-safety checklist.
It is designed grandparent-first — big text, plain words, no account to
create — and it keeps nothing about the kids: no names, no photos, no
birthdays. The free app is the whole promise. GrandPlan Pro adds the Guide,
a plan-making concierge that turns a visit into a shareable family plan.

Fast facts
What it does Five vetted, age-matched places near you, then one tap for
directions. No sign-up, no browsing, no feeds.
Categories Parks, indoor activities, and ice cream. That's the whole
                 list, on purpose.
Coverage 601 cities across 38 states; 106,114 venues curated,
                 69,404 of them agent-verified.
Safety Every place is checked against the same kid-safety checklist —
cost, waivers, age and height rules. When a fact can't be
confirmed with a source, the field stays blank and the place
                 waits.
Price The app is free. GrandPlan Pro is $14.99 a year; founding
members at launch pay $24.99 once for Pro for life.
Platforms iPhone first, launching in the US. Android follows later.
  Launch         Launching on the App Store this summer;
https://grandplanapp.com/updates carries the exact date the
                 morning it's live.
Privacy No ads, no trackers, no accounts — in the app and on the
website. Nothing about the kids, ever.
Founder Kyle Smith, who built it after an early version surfaced
places in Seattle his own relatives had never heard of.
