Three kinds of good afternoon.

Every place is checked against the same strict kid-safety rules — not scraped star ratings. Pick one, and go make a memory.

Big text. Big buttons. One job.

GrandPlan is designed for readers over 50 — which makes it effortless for everyone. Large type, high contrast, and one clear action per screen. No feeds, no pop-ups, no tiny gray links.

GrandPlan home screen. Heading: How old are the kids? Age group buttons 1 to 5, 6 to 10 (selected), and 11 to 16, above three large photo cards: Parks, Ice cream, and Indoor activities.

  • No account needed — ever. GrandPlan never asks you to sign up or sign in; saving favorites is part of Pro.
  • Works with just your city — or a zip code — if you'd rather not share your location.
  • One tap for directions — straight into Apple or Google Maps, whichever you prefer.
  • Drive time and distance up front on every spot, so you know what you're signing up for.

The whole app is three steps.

No sign-up to start, no browsing, no clutter. Open it, and you're on your way.

Tell us where you are

Use your location, or type your city — “Nash” finds Nashville. A zip code works too. That's the only thing we ask for.

Pick what and who

Choose a category and the kids' ages — grandkids, your own, or both. We match the places to fit.

Go

Five vetted spots, closest first — and one tap opens directions in your Maps app.

Two taps to five good places, and one more puts directions on your dashboard.

Built to be trusted with the kids.

The reason GrandPlan isn't just another review app.

Checked by a safety-trained AI

Each place is checked against strict kid-safety rules — the same checklist, every time, with sources to back it up.

Matched to each kid's age

Pick 1–5, 6–10, or 11–16 and results fit the kid in front of you. We're deliberately extra careful with the littlest ones.

Nothing about the kids. Ever.

No names, no photos, no birthdays. The age group you pick travels with your search — and with a Guide question — so results fit. It's a broad range, never stored, and says nothing about any particular child.

No ads. No trackers.

Nobody is selling your attention or your data — not in the app, and not on this website either.

Adult-only places can't appear

Bars, casinos, and the like are blocked in our database itself — no search can surface them.

No surprises at the door

Indoor venues aren't marked verified until the facts are sourced — waivers, age and height minimums, and cost show right on the card.

And if something's ever off, every venue has a one-tap "report a problem" button. Reports go to a person, and repeated reports hide a place until it's been reviewed.

GrandPlan Pro · for the planners

Planning ahead? Ask the Guide.

The free app is the whole promise: five fun places, two taps, no account needed. GrandPlan Pro is for the family planner in the group, whether that's the grandparent, the parent, or the favorite aunt. It adds the Guide and a place to keep your winners.

  • Describe your day, get a plan. A short, fun outing built around the kids you'll have — not a search session.
  • Only from vetted places. The Guide can suggest nothing outside the same safety-checked list.
  • Save your favorites. Heart the winners into private groups: the park that always works, the scoop stop for after.
  • Take it on the road. Visiting family? Switch cities and have your saved spots ready anywhere GrandPlan covers.
